Santa Baby

I just finished making Cole's stocking so I had to snap a few pictures. None of them capture how cute he really is... but I am his mom, so I am a bit bias!

ACF Christmas Party

Last night was our 2nd annual ACF Christmas Party here at our apartment. The theme for this party was "Christmas Sweaters", everyone was to find the best...or worst...Christmas sweater and rock it for the evening. We had some real winners...

My personal favorite was sported by our ACF president CJ. She wore a vest with scotty dogs wearing their own bad Christmas Sweaters...there are soo many things wrong with that!

We had a great time over food and a never ending game of Apples to Apples.

Here is a group shot of all of the bad sweaters for your viewing pleasure.

It has been a great semester for ACF. We have seen our group more than double in size and our community grow in fellowship and faith. We are excited to see how the Lord is going to grow us all even more next semester!

NEW YORK CITY!

Thanksgiving in NYC! Plans for a traditional family Thanksgiving did not pan out this year for us so we decided to do something a bit different. We used some hotel reward points on a hotel in Times Square for Wednesday night and had a fun overnight trip to the Big Apple! (Cole stayed here in Philly with my parents) We woke up early Wed. morning and headed up to Staten Island NY to take the Ferry over to Manhattan. Pics from the Ferry: Then we hopped on the subway and headed to Times Square...and our Hotel! Here is our view... Greg used photo stich to take a panoramic picture. Then we were off for a day walking around NYC! Here is the Tree in Rockefeller Center! We stopped for some REAL NY Pizza! Then we were off for some more window shopping. One of Our favorite stops was the FAO Schwartz Store! They had a lifesize Batman made of LEGOS! The kids also played on the big piano made famous in the movie BIG.
Then we headed to Central Park.

Greg Caed and Abby resting in Central Park. Caed playing on on of the big rocks in the park. After the park we decided to go try and find the place where the balloons for the parade were being inflated. While Greg was looking at the map I snapped this sweet picture of Abigail. On the way back to the hotel we passed Ripley's Believe It or Not and Caed found a friend!

The next Morning we got up early for the parade. Here is a slide show of all the pictures.

Football Fridays

Every Friday afternoon (weather permitting) Greg attempts to suspend his 31 year old reality and plays tackle football with some students on campus. This has been a great way for him to connect with students and is helping to develop some significant relationships.

The kids and I like to watch and cheer him on. This week it was a beautiful fall day so I took some pictures on my phone.

Caed posing...

Abigail wanted me to take a picture of her angry face...very intimidating right?!?

Ok, so they don't argue ALL the time.

Greg taking a break with his cheering section.
