I will try and post some pictures soon.

Back in the Saddle

After a week of craziness, I was finally able to go running again today. I had some severe back spasms last weekend, which put me out of commission for most of the week. When I finally felt ready to get back on the treadmill (which is easier on my back than running on paved roads) I discovered that our fitness room was closed while it was being painted. If it's not one thing, it's another! I was able to use th treadmill today and felt well enough to go 3 miles.

Night in Venice

Saturday was our big summer beach party in Ocean City with our College/Twenty-somethings group from church. We gathered at the church at 7:30AM and were on the beach by 11:00. Greg and I had our first Mack and Manco's pizza experience...Yummo! After we baked on the beach for a while we headed back to the house for an amazing dinner and the Night in Venice parade of boats. Here are a few pictures of our day.

Most of the houses along the bay were decorated for the night.

The theme for our party was "A night in Hollywood."

Greg and I were suppose to be Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt...sort of :)

Here is an example of just one of the many boats in the parade.

The sunset was beautiful over the bay!

GFAT update...

Greg did not have a monday weigh in yesterday because he has been having back spasms since Saturday. He went to the Dr yesterday and is in bed on muscle relaxers for the next 2 days.

I can report that last Thursday he hit the 30 lbs lost mark!

Parade and Picnic

Caed and Abby had a July 4th Parade and Picnic at Camp today. Caed's class organized everything from the banner for the parade, decorations, and food shopping for the picnic. They had a great time! Caed "helped" Abby steer her tricycle in the parade around the church property.
