Finally... a good week!
After spending all of June dieting and exercising for a net loss of less than a pound, the rewards came all at once. I had my biggest one-week loss yet: 5.8 lbs. That puts me down to 247.8 and 14.2 pounds away from my goal. And I even cheated with a few sodas and a couple ice cream sandwiches! More than anything, the encouragement of finally finishing a week in the 240s is what will keep me going!

Belly pic
It is about time for a pregnancy update...
I am about 25 weeks along and things are going well. Baby Boy is moving and kicking up a storm! Greg recently felt him kick from the outside for the first time. The kids are getting more and more excited as they see my belly grow! I don't think reality has set in about what life is going to be like having three children. Maybe when we get the nursery set up next month it will start to feel more real...Anyway, here is a belly picture Greg took on Sunday before church.

Caed's Last Game
Saturday was Caed's last T ball game. It was a fun season. He was super excited to get his trophy. He could not stop smiling all day! Here are a couple pics.

I Can Do Better...
Not the Monday weigh-in I hoped for. I gained a bit from last week (up to 253.8), but am hoping to break 250 somewhere in the middle of the week.

Debut of Counter Culture
Last Saturday night our church group had it's first "Counter Culture" event. It is a time where we get together for a meal from a different culture and then talk about that country, the state of the church, and hear prayer requests for that country. Our first even featured Ethiopia and a little bit of Kenya. One of our students from Arcadia was gracious enough to cook an authentic Ethiopian meal.
It was a great opportunity to help our church group begin thinking more missionally. We hoped these type of events excite the group about participating in the Great Commission as well as educate us about the ways in which He is growing His Church in other areas of the world. Here are a few pictures from the event...

Half Way There!
While Ashley usually updates our blog, I was too excited to wait for her to get home to have her let y'all know that I'm half way to my goal of 40 lbs! That's right, I weighed in at 253, which is 20.6 pounds lost. (woohoo)
